HOW TO BE INTENTIONAL
Re-ignite Your Passion / Zeal
Meditate on the sacrificial redemption that Jesus Christ granted all believers at Calvary, and re-commit to be intentional. Each person should strive to build new relationships by being a blessing, especially to those neighbors you have never spoken to. Begin in your locality, it is God who gives us power to be effective witnesses. (Acts 1:8)
Pray
Constantly exercise the inherent power in prayer: Matthew 7:7 says ”Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 21:22 says “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Mark 11:24 says “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Seek Broken Vessels
God delights in healing and restoring broken hearts, because in our weaknesses, He strengthens us. (2 Corinthians 12:9). When we draw near to Him, conscious of our broken, flawed and imperfect character, He draws near to us and perfects us! (James 4:8). Our personal experiences as "broken vessels that have yielded to the Holy Spirit" enables us to reach out to the broken in society and to minister to them.
Study The Word of God
Study the word of God frequently. The word of Christ should dwell in all Christian believers richly, teaching and admonishing them in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. (Colossians 3:16). Hebrews 4:12 (ESV) says, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
