BACKGROUND
Faith Family Chapel, Murang’a began in August 1998 with about ten members and by God’s grace, has today grown exponentially. The Ministry is anchored on the teaching of the Word of God as written in the scriptures; seeking God through prayer; and evangelism. Our VISION is “to be a ministry that wins and establishes souls in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ” while our MISSION is “to raise the standard of living in our generation through teaching and preaching the uncompromised word of God and sharing the love of Christ.”
We are delighted to document and share OUR VISION and MISSION, and to essentially grant all participants in the ministry an opportunity to understand our history and future prospects: where we have come from, where we are and where we are going. Habakkuk 2:1-3 provides the foundational scriptural basis for our vision and mission. Prophet Habakkuk wrote, “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and I will watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, ‘Write the vision, and make it plain on tables, that he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
For this reason, our accomplishments are the Lord’s and our deepest appreciation goes out to everyone who continues to participate in this ministry. Your labour in the Lord is not in vain.
